Which one fits?

LIMS IQ Lite is the right starting point for POLs and small labs that want a predictable monthly cost and a standardized workflow they can run quickly. Labs with custom panels, multiple sites, deeper integrations, or specialty workflows usually fit the Dedicated path — contact us for sizing and a tailored quote.

Flexible Monthly Subscription

Our core offering is an Enterprise License that provides comprehensive access to the LIMS IQ platform. Unlike other vendors that charge per user, our model includes unlimited seat licenses, allowing your entire team to collaborate without additional costs.

Volume-Based Discounts

We understand that as your laboratory processes more samples, efficiency becomes paramount. Our pricing structure is built on a volume-based model tied to the number of monthly requisitions processed.

  • Scale your savings: The more you process, the more you save. We offer significant volume discounts that reduce the effective cost per requisition as your throughput increases.
  • Modular customization: Pricing is also tailored based on the specific optional modules you choose to install, so you only pay for the workflows you need.

This approach ensures that startups can get started with low overhead, while high-volume reference labs benefit from economies of scale.

Optional Add-On Modules

Expand the capabilities of your LIS with add-on modules that fit directly into your existing workflow.

Integrated Billing Module

Streamline your revenue cycle with an advanced billing module built into the LIS.

  • Features: Claim submission, claim tracking, and financial reporting.
  • Seamless integration: Uses LIS data directly to reduce duplicate entry and billing errors.
  • Self-managed: This is the software platform for billing management. It does not include managed billing services, so your team retains control over submissions and reconciliation.
  • Cost-effective: Pricing is transaction-based, with a low base fee and lower per-claim costs at higher volumes.

Real-Time Insurance Verification

Reduce denials and improve collections with integrated insurance verification.

  • Instant checks: Verify patient coverage before services are rendered.
  • Integrated workflow: Access verification details inside the patient record or accessioning screen.
  • Simple pricing: Available for a nominal per-verification fee, helping avoid downstream billing issues.

Dedicated Support Packages

We also offer tiered Support Hour Packages to assist with configuration, training, and ongoing maintenance.

  • Volume discounts: Purchase support hours in bundles to receive discounted hourly rates.
  • Flexible options: Choose support blocks that match your implementation stage and team needs.

Pricing FAQ

How is LIMS IQ priced — per user or per volume?

LIMS IQ is priced on monthly requisition volume rather than per user. The Enterprise License includes unlimited seat licenses, so the entire lab team can use the system without per-seat fees. Pricing scales with throughput and the optional modules you install — a small POL pays a small monthly subscription, while a higher-volume lab gets effective per-requisition cost reductions through volume tiers.

What is the difference between LIMS IQ Lite and LIMS IQ Dedicated pricing?

LIMS IQ Lite is a fixed monthly subscription on a standardized, shared-platform configuration aimed at POLs and small clinical labs that want predictable cost and faster onboarding. LIMS IQ Dedicated is a tailored configuration on a dedicated cloud footprint, priced on monthly requisition volume with optional modules for billing, eligibility, custom interfaces, multi-site, and specialty workflows. The compare-editions table above shows which capabilities are included, configurable, or available as add-ons.

Are billing and insurance eligibility included in the base price?

The integrated billing module and real-time insurance verification are optional add-ons. Billing is priced on a transaction model with a low base fee and a per-claim rate that decreases at higher volumes; eligibility verification is priced on a nominal per-check fee. Labs that don’t run billing through the LIS pay nothing for those modules.

Are there setup or implementation fees?

Yes — implementation is scoped separately from the recurring subscription because the work depends on the lab’s complexity (HL7 interface count, instrument integrations, custom test catalog, multi-site configuration, validation depth, training). LIMS IQ Lite uses a shorter, standardized onboarding path; Dedicated implementations are phased across discovery, configuration, interface build, validation, training, and go-live. See the LIS implementation timeline for how the phases break down.

Can I change volume tier or add modules after go-live?

Yes. The volume tier adjusts as monthly requisition volume changes, so labs that grow into a new tier get the lower effective per-requisition cost automatically rather than renegotiating contracts. Add-on modules — billing, eligibility, additional HL7 interfaces, portals, multi-site profiles — can be turned on after go-live as the lab’s workflow expands. Custom test catalog entries, reflex rules, and report templates are configuration changes, not contract changes.

Do you offer a trial or demo before purchase?

Yes. Most evaluations start with a working demo of the LIS configured to a representative workflow — accessioning, instrument upload, autoverification, result release, and any portal or billing flow that matters to the lab. The LIS buyers guide explains what to ask for during a structured demo.
